Baby Love :)

My family  has some new baby love... :)

Welcome Reid Norrid Norsworthy :)

Reid was born on February 15, 2012 at 9:42 AM Weighing 7 LB 5 OZ and 18 IN long

My sister Callye and her husband Brad were the proud parents.

And Gracie the VERY proud Big Sister! :)

And I, of course, the doting Aunt!

Not to mention several grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc who love this boy!

I have had the privilege to help my sister out some once her and Reid came home from the hospital.

I have enjoyed LOTS of snuggles and cuddles and naps with sweet little Reid. :)

With working 3rd shift then going straight to Callye's to get Gracie to school... I am ready for a nap and Reid is always willing to snuggle with JuJu :)

Caught the sweet boy in the middle of a sneeze! :)

Sometimes it just amazes me how much love I can have for this little man. :)

When I see all of the family and friends that just adore this newborn baby it just amazes me.

But it also breaks my heart a little.

Because in the back of my mind I know the facts.

I know that there are 147 million orphans.

That means 147 million children who don't have ONE person that loves them.

Here is this little baby who had people literally fighting over him when he was born...

And I have held babies in El Salvador who were sent straight to the orphanage after birth because no one wanted them...

It just doesn't seem fair to me.

Reid is precious. He is perfect. I love him with my whole heart. His sister, Gracie, too.

But those 147 million orphans are precious and perfect too and deserve the same love that this new nephew of mine has.

I know there isn't an easy fix to this problem. The only real solution would be for the Lord to return.

But we can all make a difference. With as much love as I have for Reid and Gracie... I still have plenty more.

Love your family... but love an orphan, too.

Pray for them. Go visit them (as the Lord commands in James 1:27). Or bring one home to a family and show them how much love that they can have.
